The UMN Udall Center is aimed at improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) through development of novel deep brain stimulation therapies. This will be accomplished through gaining a better understanding of the changes in brain circuitry that occur in PD and training the next generation of leaders.
Driven to Develop New Treatments
By better understanding the changes in brain circuitry that occur in Parkinson’s, we will develop new treatment strategies to improve the lives of patients.
Driven to Train the Next Generation of Leaders in PD Research
The UMN Udall Center is poised to promote, coordinate, and implement the academic mission of training the next generation of leaders in PD research, both within the Center and across the UMN.
Driven to Promote Community Engagement
In partnership with the patient community, the UMN Udall Center will serve as a hub for PD research and patient care in the Upper Midwest.
